- Can keep up to 4 players each year. There is a 2-round penalty for every player kept. Ex: If you keep a player you drafted in the 5th round last year, it will cost a 3rd round pick to keep him. The year after would cost a 1st to keep him
- Can’t keep anyone drafted in the first OR 2nd round. (2 round penalty makes it impossible)
- Can’t trade first OR 2nd round picks. This will hopefully prevent people from trading away all their players for multiple top picks.
- If you trade a pick for a player, you MUST include a pick with the player. Must be even number of draft picks being dealt. Even if you must throw in a last round pick.
- If you keep a player that you picked up on waivers, it will cost a 12th round pick the following year to keep than a 10th the year after and so on. You can only keep 1 waiver wire add yearly.
- There will be a trade deadline. Once the season is over, I will turn it off so people can trade in the off season
- There will be a veto system in place. Keeper and dynasty leagues are tough because you want to prevent people from just off-loading good players for picks. Half the league (6 Votes) will need to veto to prevent a trade. If something is vetoed and you feel it shouldn’t have been, talk to me and the league will have an open discussion. If you feel a trade went through that should not have and it was not vetoed, talk to me and the league will have an open discussion. I am all for trading and acquiring draft picks HOWEVER, if I see someone unloading all their top players to one team, I will not allow that. That’s not fair to the other players competing for the playoffs. If you are trading for Lamar Jackson, you better be giving away equal or better value in draft picks.
- Draft order for this year will be done at random by yahoo 30 mins prior to draft
- Draft order after this year= To try to prevent tanking, I have decided that the team who wins the consolation bracket will have the number 1 pick in the draft. 6 teams make the playoffs while 6 teams don’t. The 6 teams that don’t will compete in a consolidation tournament. Whomever wins that, will have the number 1 pick. Whoever loses in the finals will pick 2nd. The 3rd place finisher will pick 3rd and so on. The 6 teams in the playoffs will be determined like normal. If you win the league you pick 12th. If you lose in the finals, you pick 11th and so on. This is for round 1 only!! The rest will revert to regular season standings.
